Vor sehr langer Zeit hat König Mahabali in Kerala regiert.A very long time ago, King Mahabali ruled in Kerala.
Er war ein guter und großzügiger König.He was a good and generous king.
In seinem Land waren alle Menschen gleich, und niemand war arm.In his land, all people were equal, and nobody was poor.
Niemand hat gelogen und niemand hat gestohlen.Nobody lied and nobody stole.
Die Götter im Himmel haben das gesehen.The gods in heaven saw this.
Sie hatten Angst, weil Mahabali so mächtig geworden ist.They were afraid because Mahabali had become so powerful.
Deshalb haben sie den Gott Vishnu um Hilfe gebeten.So they asked the god Vishnu for help.
Vishnu ist als kleiner Junge auf die Erde gekommen.Vishnu came to earth as a little boy.
Er hieß Vamana und hatte einen Schirm aus Palmblättern.His name was Vamana and he had an umbrella made of palm leaves.
Er ist zum Palast von Mahabali gegangen.He went to Mahabali's palace.
