Ananya wohnt in Köln in einer WG mit Marie, Tim und Yusuf.Ananya lives in a flatshare in Cologne with Marie, Tim and Yusuf.
Sie vermisst ihre Familie, denn zu Hause feiern alle zusammen.She misses her family, because at home everyone celebrates together.
Dann hat sie eine Idee: Sie feiert Diwali einfach hier in der WG!Then she has an idea: she'll simply celebrate Diwali right here in the flat!
Beim Abendessen erzählt sie von ihrem Plan.At dinner she tells them about her plan.
„Was macht man an Diwali?“, fragt Tim.“What do people do at Diwali?” asks Tim.
„Wir putzen das Haus, zünden Lichter an, essen Süßigkeiten und besuchen Freunde“, erklärt Ananya.“We clean the house, light lamps, eat sweets and visit friends,” Ananya explains.
„Putzen? Oh nein!“, ruft Tim, und alle lachen.“Cleaning? Oh no!” cries Tim, and everyone laughs.
