Nominativ and Akkusativ
Nominativ und Akkusativ
Who does it, and who or what is it done to? Only masculine words change: der → den.
The Nominativ is the subject: the person or thing that does something (Wer? Was?). The Akkusativ is the direct object: the person or thing the action is done to (Wen? Was?). Only masculine words change in the Akkusativ: der becomes den, ein becomes einen.
